Victoria uses designated neighbourhood zones. Your zoned school is the nearest government school to your home address. You can check your zone on the findmyschool.vic.gov.au website.

Can I send my child to a school outside our zone in Victoria?

You can apply, but your designated neighbourhood school must accept you. Other schools may accept out-of-zone students based on a published placement policy and available capacity.
